ALL ABOUT ELLA MARIA

Ella Maria is an online cake studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. I source my ingredients locally and directly and take inspiration from seasonality, occasion and recipes with a story.

Ella Maria — a name that has quietly always been with me. It honours the women in my family who made life meaningful through cooking and baking: the cups of tea and rusks, the homemade loaves, the Sunday roasts. Ella Maria is a nod to that care, craft and stubborn love — the recipes, rituals and resilience passed down to me.

My offering consists of a seasonal Friday Cake; a Variety of Cakes to dress your event table; as well as a smaller range of confectionary items which are available at select delis in Cape Town or for wholesale.
